Commissions and special projects

I love to illustrate ideas and bring memories to life. A commission can simply be a painted version of a photo, a representation of many photos and descriptions, or a piece I create from abstract ideas and feelings. My past work includes portraits of people, pets, and places, murals (both private and public), wine/beer labels, instructional and academic illustration, signage, and more.

Coyote’s Corner

This mural is part of a renovation project taking place in Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center’s family activity center, Coyote’s Corner. I was hired to paint the wall mural depicting local scenes and animals following themes of agriculture, hydrology, changing landscape, and an industrial/urban scene which will incorporate an interactive exhibit. Two other artists, Ellen Bureaux and Heather Dappen painted the floor.

The Mercantile

Mission Health and Wellness

Mission Health and Wellness , Wenatchee WA

private commission, 2021

Within the historic Ellis-Forde building in Wenatchee, WA is a work share space called The Mercantile. The owners wanted murals that reflect the downtown area and some of its architectural and waterfront features in the two conference rooms. The adjacent rooms have large, glass doors and the murals can be seen from the beautiful lobby as well as from the sidewalk.
